There are SO many methods to make you more productive and efficient. You can improve your file folders, your calendar, your lists — but do you know the best way YOU operate in order to have a sustainable foundation in place? You should thrive not survive!

 

A productive lifestyle looks different for each person. From my decade-plus of experience working with women, I’ve narrowed it down to these eight essential foundational elements.

Stop putting a band-aid on the overwhelm and understand how to create a foundation that will last.

Sneak Peak of My Foundational Eight Efficiency Elements (in no set order):

  • Priorities: Comparing time, values, and priorities as they impact choices, plans, and actions
  • Planning: Looking ahead, anticipating needs, scheduling, rearranging, creating systems, mapping out lists
  • Time Awareness: Understanding how long tasks take, managing the clock, staying focused, considering transitions, being timely
  • Self-Care: Intentional nutrition, activity, relationships, spiritual growth, and stillness
  • Delegating: Enlisting support and giving up control of the tasks you don’t have to do yourself
  • Boundaries: Knowing your limits based on your priorities for time, space, and relationships
  • Order: Clearing clutter, assigning a home for items, making decisions, managing your space
  • Execution: Implementing plans, following through, maintaining systems, discipline, and accountability

Which element do you feel strong in? And which are you clenching your jaw saying, “Eeek. I struggle with that!”?

TAKE ACTION

Some of the elements will come naturally, but others might be more challenging to adapt. And often we can’t even see our own challenge spots.

 

Address one strong element and one weak element at a time. The goal is to find balance, not perfection! Consider where those elements show up in your day to day life. Where do they trip you up? Where do they add to your efficiencies? Make small adjustments and allow time to transform the way you approach and function in your day-to-day life.
