So what’s next?
That’s the question I keep asking myself, with no clear answer coming to mind. But to really know what’s next in 2016, it seems natural to reflect on ‘what was’ in 2015.
Well, it was definitely a year of highs and lows…to name a few…
I experienced new emotions while saying good-bye to my precious mother, who is now in the presence of Jesus.
I served my nephew who was born while his dad was deployed serving our country.
I learned I am weak without the support of community.
I explored new cities in the diverse world we live in.
I gained new physical strength through weight training.
And I expanded my wonderful clientele to more women who desire new order in their lives.
So what’s next?
I’ve found I can set resolutions, but realistically I don’t follow through with 100% success. So my conclusion is to enter 2016 with a specified MIDSET and PURPOSE. Will you join me?
Maybe an example would be helpful…So, rather than setting a resolution to “lose 20 pounds,” you determine a mindset of “intentionally building strength through all daily circumstances” or a purpose of “imputing healthy elements into my mind and body.”
Or, instead of a resolution to simple “be more organized.” You turn it to be “creating intentional order through my actions and thoughts” or “making decisions even when you don’t feel like it” [if you know me I believe, not making decisions causes clutter].
Would setting a mindset or purpose be a more realistic and holistic way for you make improvements in 2016? Think about it, because I am going to and set my own for the new year. Out with unrealistic resolutions and in with new thought patterns.
Thank you for your support in 2015 and I truly wish you a blessed and more orderly 2016!!
